Bradley Cooper, star of new Eagles-centric movie Silver Linings Playbook, was a guest on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on Monday night to discuss his new film and the role his uncle played in teaching Robert De Niro how to talk like a Philadelphian.
As Cooper tells it, his Uncle Ernie is a heating and air conditioning repairman in the Delaware Valley and De Niro had him read all of his parts in the script out loud to him so he could get the true local flavor of such phrases as "Dallas Sucks!" and "Run the F&$^# ball!"
Just kidding about that last part. Kind of.
