Dunkin' Donuts serves revenge to Eagles fans in Philadelphia

When you’re the winning team, this is more funny than infuriating.

A few weeks ago, hilariously, Patriots fans in Massachusetts were served coffee in Eagles world champions cups at Dunkin’ Donuts, which led to social media uproar and an apology from the company.

Thursday, according to NBC10, Eagles fans in a University City Dunkin' Donuts were exposed to the most rueful of paybacks when customers were (accidentally?) given cups emblazoned with the Patriots' logo.

"Hmmm. It appears Pats fans are exacting some revenge," the Eagles fan who provided the photo above said.

"Get this thing outta here," Drexel student Patrick Murphy said of his cup. "Go Birds!"

Employees at the store said they believe it was a mixup that they received the medium-sized Patriots cups, however, they were using them to serve customers. They assured NBC10 they love and support the Eagles.

NBC10 reached out to Dunkin' Donuts for comment and they offered the following:

“We appreciate our loyal customers for bringing this to our attention, and we are taking steps to ensure all of our local stores are stocked with the correct cups. Fly, Eagles, Fly! ”

We forgive you, because having this happen to Patriots fans was totally worth it.
