The Eagles have gone back to the Canadian Football League to find another cornerback.
A year after signing Aaron Grymes from the CFL, the Eagles have signed former Michigan State and Ottawa RedBlacks corner Mitchell White.
While the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson reported the signing on Monday, White's tweet about his new deal went relatively unnoticed on Saturday.
Grymes even congratulated his fellow former CFL-er.
Like Grymes, White comes to the Eagles after a Grey Cup championship and an All-Star season in the CFL.
White, 26, is 5-foot-11, 185 pounds and was once a walk-on at Michigan State, where he backed up future top NFL draft picks Darqueze Dennard and Trae Waynes.

Before joining the RedBlacks this season, White had been with the Montreal Alouettes since 2013 after going undrafted out of Michigan State. White was with the Raiders briefly after leaving Michigan State, but didn't stick.
"I love the CFL and living in Ottawa," White said to the Detroit Free Press in November, "but if the NFL comes calling, I'm going to listen."
Now, he'll have a shot this spring.
