Washington’s football team has a new name for the 2020 season but it’s not a permanent one. 

Washington’s football team is now the Washington Football Team for the upcoming season, according to NBC Sports Washington

This will buy the franchise more time to come up with a new name after announcing earlier this month that they were retiring the name Redskins after nearly 90 years. 

The Eagles will open their 2020 season against the Washington Football Team at FedEx Field on Sept. 13 with Washington wearing these logo-less helmets, according to ESPN. They’re keeping the same color scheme: 

In addition, Schefter reports that the team is hoping to completely eliminate the Redskins name from physical and digital spaces in the next 50 days. By the opener, Washington hopes to be rebranded (for now) as the Washington Football Team.

Eventually, the franchise will come up with a new team name but they’re not rushing into it.
