The beleaguered Flyers will be down two more forwards as they try to halt their growing losing streak.
Travis Konecny, the club's leading goal scorer, is expected to miss approximately 10 to 14 days with an upper-body injury. The 25-year-old winger was out the last two games after suffering the injury last Thursday against the Bruins. He exited the Flyers' 4-1 loss during the second period, looking at the area of his right hand.
Scott Laughton is expected to be out approximately two weeks because of an upper-body. The club placed him on injured reserve Tuesday. The 28-year-old alternate captain left last Saturday's matchup after taking a big hit in the third period and was out for Monday's game.

The Flyers lost their seventh straight game Monday with a 5-2 loss to the Flames at the Wells Fargo Center. They were without Konecny, Laughton, Cam Atkinson (upper body), James van Riemsdyk (broken finger), Sean Couturier (back) and Wade Allison (oblique/hip).
Ten of the Flyers' 12 forwards in Monday's lineup had under 200 games of NHL experience. Jackson Cates was called up Tuesday from AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley.
The Flyers have scored just 2.14 goals per game during their 0-5-2 skid. The Flyers knew they wouldn't light up the scoreboard this season. The injuries up front have now made them starved for offense.
Atkinson, van Riemsdyk and Couturier all have two seasons of 30 or more goals to their name. Konecny is arguably the Flyers' most talented playmaker, Laughton is the team's Swiss army knife and Allison possesses one of the better shots in the organization.
NHL
If the Flyers are looking for positives, it's that their solid 7-3-2 start has them at 7-8-4 overall and the most recent injuries don't appear to be long term.
As for the other injuries:
Atkinson, who has not played yet this season, is week to week.
Allison is expected to return in approximately two to three weeks.
Van Riemsdyk, who has been out since late October, could be back around early-to-mid December.
Couturier, who underwent a second back surgery in late October, remains on his three-to-fourth-month recovery timetable.
The Flyers are staring down a tough stretch ahead with three games in four days. They visit the Capitals on Wednesday (7:30 p.m. ET/TNT), host the Penguins on Black Friday (5:30 p.m. ET/TNT) and quickly hit the road to play the Islanders on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET/NBCSP).
