Late last summer, Adam Sandler was spotted playing basketball all around Philadelphia when he wasn't busy shooting his next Netflix film, 'Hustle', in different locales throughout the city.
It became a fun little treasure hunt: where will we see Sandler hooping with random pro basketball players next?

Now we finally have a payoff for those sightings: the film is out this week on Netflix, and while it's still fresh the early returns are good. The flick has an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 90% audience score, and is generally receiving favorable reviews from all over. Nice!
Here's the full trailer for the film from February:
Sixers players! Philly views! Meek in the background! It's too perfect. I need to see it 20 times.
I tried to note all the different Philly references and locales included in those 69 seconds, and wound up with this list:
NBA
0:01 - Federal Donuts sweatshirt
0:04 - A stripped-down version of the song "Ima Boss" by Meek Mill, which is interspersed throughout the trailer
0:05 - Sixers' Camden facility
0:17 - Sixers mural at Broad & Federal
0:18 - Wells Fargo Center
0:24 - Matisse Thybulle, Tyrese Maxey, Kyle Lowry, Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic
0:26 - Tom Gola Arena
0:35 - St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Manayunk
0:39 - Schuylkill Banks boardwalk
0:40 - Capitolo Playground basketball courts
0:40 - Geno's Steaks
0:44 - Steps at Dupont & Silverwood in Roxborough-Manayunk
0:55 - City Hall/Market Street
Pretty good list! If I missed anything, please let me know and I'll toss it in here and give you credit.
Thank goodness warmer weather is here so I can put on a Meek playlist and shoot hoops at Capitolo on Sunday mornings, as it should be.
