Here's a breakdown of players that should interest the Eagles on Friday at pick No. 43 in the second round and No. 99 in the third round.
Options for No. 43
Kevin King, CB, Washington and Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
Either would be good fits at 43, but I doubt either will be there (see Round 2 mock below).
Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma
There is no denying that Mixon has first-round talent, and the Eagles reportedly are interested, so grabbing a guy with this much talent to help Carson Wentz certainly is a possibility.
Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Another talented back with a troubled past. Ray Didinger liked him for the Eagles at 14 early last month before being scared away by the red flags. Much more on them here. Probably won't be there at 43, but if he is, maybe the Birds take a chance.
Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
Big, tough and can cover — Wilson seems to be a perfect fit for Jim Schwartz's defense. Other corner options for Round 2: Rasul Douglas (West Virginia), Teez Tabor (Florida) and Ahkello Witherspoon (Colorado).
Budda Baker, S, Washington
While safety isn't a real need, Baker's ball skills and ability to slide inside to cover the slot make him a versatile and talented addition to any defense. Malcolm Jenkins isn't getting any younger.
NFL
Curtis Samuel, RB/WR, Ohio State
Samuel doesn't really have a set position, but could prove to be a dangerous weapon in the right offense. Speed is his game, and whether he's coming out of the backfield or lining up in the slot, he'd give Wentz another tool to work with.
Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy State
The Eagles retained Jason Peters, but it's only a matter of time before Lane Johnson slides over to replace him. Garcia is a small-school stud who is really athletic. He's only 303 pounds and will need to get stronger.
Options for No. 99
Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
Again, the Eagles need offensive help. Kupp played in the FCS, but destroyed players at that level. He's got size (6-2/204) and great hands.
Alex Anzalone, LB, Florida
If not for injuries, Anzalone would be long gone by now. An athletic middle linebacker who could allow Jordan Hicks to slide outside.
Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee
A smaller (5-11/188) CB who excels in man-to-man coverage. Might not be big enough for Schwartz to play on the outside, but could become an excellent slot corner.
Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma
A big power back who can carry a big workload, Perine shared carries with Mixon in 2016.
