Another forward went down for the Flyers Monday night.
And it didn't look good.
Play was stopped during the second period at the Wells Fargo Center as Michael Raffl stayed down on two knees in front of the Avalanche net after being checked into the back boards.
He was helped off by head trainer Jim McCrossin and couldn't put weight on his left leg.
He did not return with what the team called a "lower-body injury."
The fourth-line left winger played 6:44 before exiting. He is one of the team's key role forwards who plays big penalty-kill minutes and is strong on the puck.

"This is a team of togetherness, it's not one or two guys doing everything," goalie Brian Elliott said. "He's a big player for us."
The Flyers are already without winger James van Riemsdyk, who was ruled out Oct. 8 for five to six weeks because of a lower-body injury. An upper-body injury also kept center Nolan Patrick out for three games from Oct. 13-18.
If Raffl misses any time, the Flyers currently have two extra centers in Corban Knight and Mikhail Vorobyev, who are both capable of playing winger.
"You lose any player, it's not a positive for our hockey team," Flyers head coach Dave Hakstol said. "Raf has played good hockey for us. If he's going to be out for a little while, then somebody else is going to have to step in — step in and do a good job."
