It was sort of an ugly day of baseball for the Phillies. They lose both games on Saturday to the New York Mets, 4-3, and 11-4.

Just 24 hours after partying all night, the Phillies come all the way back from 5-0 down to beat the Pirates 7-6, for their seventh straight win. Party animal, Garrett Stubbs, hit his first home run of the season, and Bryce Harper put the good guys ahead in the 7th with his 21st dinger of the year.

Garrett Stubbs is a national hero. Rob Thomson called him a “gamer” for coming ready to play after celebrating all night on Tuesday. Stubbs then promises to ride the bull if the Phillies win the World Series!
